Petmedin Tablet contains pimobendan (non-sympathomimetic, non-glycoside inotropic drug) which is indicated for the management of canine congestive heart failure originating from dilated cardiomyopathy or valvular insufficiency. Composition : Each uncoated tablet contains: Pimobendan Ph. Eur -2.5 mg/5 mg/10 mg Excipients q.s. Protein Flavour & Palatable Class: Cardiac Support/ pyridazinone / Cardiotonic Indications/Uses For the management of the signs of mild, moderate, or sever congestive heart failure due to atrioventricular valvular insufficiency (AVVI) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). Directions for use: The dose rate of Pimobendan is 0.5mg/kg body weight. The dose should be 0.25mg/kg body weight twice daily, one half of the dose in the morning and the other half approximately 12 hours later.
