PANTOPET Tablets contain pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses the final step in gastric acid production by covalently binding to the (H+, K+)-ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells. This action inhibits both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion, regardless of the stimulus.

Composition:
Each coated PANTOPET 20 tablet contains Pantoprazole 20 mg.

Indications and Uses:
PANTOPET is administered orally to dogs and cats affected by Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). For GERD, treatment is typically recommended for 7 to 10 days. It is also used as a supportive medication alongside antibiotics, antifungals, and painkillers to reduce acid secretion. Additionally, PANTOPET is effective in preventing and treating stomach ulcers, gastric acid-related diseases, and gastric and duodenal ulcers in dogs and cats.

Directions for Use:

• Dosage for Dogs and Cats: 1 mg/kg per day orally

• Duration: Once daily for up to 8 weeks or as directed by a veterinarian
