Sihil Macrozee 250mg (Azithromycin) Tablets for Dogs and Cats
MACROZEE 250 mg Tablets contain azithromycinis an antibiotic in a class called macrolides. It is a strong, broad-spectrum antibiotic commonly prescribed for dogs and cats. Composition: Each Film coated tablet Contains Azithromycin as Dihydrate IP eq. to anhydrous Azithromycin 250mg Class: Antibiotics / Macrolides Indications/Uses MACROZEE is indicated for the treatment of Babesia gibsoni infection in Dogs in addition to Atovaquone. It is indicated for Acute Cytauxzoonosis and Toxoplasmosis. It is indicated for the treatment of infections in the Skin, Respiratory tract, and urogenital systems. It is indicated for the treatment of otitis media (inner ear infections), Keratitis and Conjunctivitis, cyclosporine induced Gingival Hyperplasia. Macrozee may aid in the treatment of viral papillomatosis in dogs. Directions for use: 5-10 mg/kg orally once or twice a day for 1-5 days. For Babesia gibsoni, it is given along with Atovaquone @ 10 mg/kg b.wt once daily for 10 days. For Skin infection, the dose is 10 mg/kg once daily for 3-4 weeks.
